The beautiful community of Inuvik is looking for physicians with GP-Surgery (ESS/OSS), GP-Anesthesia, and physicians with emergency medicine or low-risk obstetrics. Come to the NWT and work in rewarding rural and remote communities.

Physicians ensure that patients in the Beaufort-Delta and Sahtu regions of the Northwest Territories have access to primary care and surgical and obstetrical services year-round. Physicians in Inuvik are well supported by the Yellowknife specialists as well as visiting specialists. Our Physicians can provide regular travel clinics to the surrounding and high arctic communities. We are also a long-standing teaching hospital that has learners all year from UBC, McMaster, and University of Alberta. 

 

We pay a locum daily rate based on the area of practice as well as your travel and accommodation. Typically, these positions require CCFP certification and must be eligible for licensure to practice in the Northwest Territories.
