Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) is a state of the art 395 funded bed acute care facility that serves the people of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario, covering a region of over 250,000 residents that are scattered over a vast geographical area the size of France. TBHRSC is the Regional Trauma Centre and the Regional Cancer Program for all of Northwestern Ontario. You will find that we offer a broad range of surgical specialities including: Vascular, Urology, Plastic, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgery etc, and by 2025 Cardiac Surgery.
