Call for Poster Submissions – Research . . . or Program . . .

Submissions for Rural Research Poster Presentation

We are organizing a rural research poster session at the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada’s Rural and Remote Medicine Course. Poster presentations will be held on April 10th at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, Quebec.

Poster proposals must include a clear research purpose, objectives, methodology, summary of the research results and conclusion. Posters will be judged on rural relevance, research methodology, impact, clarity of presentation and ability to answer questions regarding your research. Posters are restricted to a width of 4 feet and height of 3 feet.

Students and residents will each have the opportunity of being awarded for the best student/resident research poster. Winners will win the equivalent of $500 credited towards attending the conference.

Submissions for Rural Program Poster Presentation

The Society of Rural Physicians is organizing a poster session for rural programs from across Canada at the Rural and Remote Medicine Course . Poster presentations will be held on April 10, 2015 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montréal Québec.

We invite you to submit a poster pertaining to your program to share information and provide another learning opportunity for residents, students and preceptors from across Canada. Posters are restricted to a width of 4 feet and height of 3 feet.

STUDENTS
Students should submit a non-fiction essay
with a rural elective theme.
RESIDENTS
Residents should submit a non-fiction essay
about their rural experience.

The winners will win the equivalent of $500
(students) or $1000 (residents) credited towards
the cost of attending the 2015 Rural and Remote
conference. Eligible costs may include registration,
travel to and from the conference, as well as
accommodations and social events.

Alternative Accomodation

Student/resident accommodation have been arranged at the Banff Y Mountain Lodge.  There's a variety of rooms from dorm type starting at $33 to 2 double beds at $104.  And there's a 15% discount on top of that!

Transportation To Banff
