While there are many CME activities that interest Rural Doctors, there are very few with a rural focus. This page highlights upcoming SRPC sponsored events and others that have this rural focus and conform to our ethics policy with regard to CME. International Rural Conferences
Australia has an interactive accredited rural medical education satellite broadcast series given by the Rural Health Education Foundation. While connecting up to the satellite may be difficult, the programs are archived and easily accessible on the web here. http://www.rhef.com.au/programs/
The Canadian Medical Associationis committed to providing its members with access to high quality, accredited online continuing medical education. The courses focus on current education gaps and neglected topics that are of importance to physicians today, while addressing physician concerns about the accessibility of accredited courses. All of the CMA courses are accredited by both the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
